Event volunteers will assist the Friends of the Family development team execute events to meet fundraising and community engagement goals. We have a few options when it comes to helping with events, they are preparing for events, working events and cleaning up events. Task are written out below. If you enjoy mingling with community members and creating a fun environment these opportunities are for you. If you enjoy helping with behind the scenes of events these opportunities are also for you! Volunteers are necessary for the success of events and we love having individuals or teams help.
Tasks:
Preparing for events entail printing and cutting materials, selecting and packing supplies and decorations, setting up the venue.
Working events entails greeting and checking guests in, helping with live and silent auctions.
Cleaning up events entails collecting and packing supplies and decorations, helping guests with auction items and check out, cleaning up the venue.
