Volunteers for this position will provide transportation during a scheduled timeframe to clients in or preparing to access Friends of the Family's emergency shelter program.
Basic Transportation Include:
- Bringing clients to shelter at time of entry
- Taking clients to their next destination at time of exit
- Taking clients to and from court proceedings
- Taking clients to and from DMV, Social Security Office, etc
- Taking clients to and from medical appointments, landlord meetings, and other personal appointments
Qualifications:
- Ability to complete Victim Counselor Training
- Have a valid driver's license and insurance
- Have a reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass basic driving record check
