Here at the Cedar Bend, we have a pet cemetery and many of our headstones have been overtaken by grass and dirt. We are looking for volunteers to fill two hour shifts to help dig out and raise the headstones, which will be labor intensive. Duties will include: digging out and lifting old headstones, placing sand underneath, and replacing the headstones so they are visible again.
- Please wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothing as we will be outside!
- Water will be provided but you may want to bring other snacks as well.
- Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Jessica, at cbhsvolunteer@gmail.com before hand if you have gardening tools that may be of use.
- On day of, please park at the Mutt Hut and meet us at the cemetery to the right of the Mutt Hutt.
