Amani Community Services is currently seeking applicants for our domestic violence and sexual assault crisis line. Volunteers will be part of a rewarding experience providing counseling, victim advocacy, and crisis advocacy. Volunteers answer the crisis line after business hours. Volunteers are required by the state of Iowa to complete a 20-hour online victim counselor training through the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 10-hour online and 10-hour in-person victim counselor training through the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
