We are seeking exceptional volunteers who are interested in serving others at end of life. Volunteers are a vital part of the mission at UnityPoint Hospice. Patient's and families' lives are enriched by the volunteers who serve them by offering companionship or respite.
We serve patients where they are.
Volunteers must apply and interview before starting the required 16 hour orientation. Background checks and TB testing is also required.
UnityPoint Hospice Volunteer Orientation will take place on four Thursday Mornings, 8:30 AM – noon, February 23, March 2, 9 and 16 at Allen Hospital. Prospective volunteers must apply and interview. Background checks and references are required.
Class is limited to ten people.
