Description

We need your help to make a difference in our communities!

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from about 5:00 PM to about midnight, we will conduct the annual Point-in-Time (PIT) Census to identify and support individuals living unsheltered across a 20-county region.

Volunteers alongside our trained staff and community partners will:

  • Attend a brief training on safety and PIT procedures

  • Work in small teams to survey assigned areas by traveling to parks, businesses, and other locations to identify individuals living unsheltered

  • Engage with individuals to collect demographic data and provide resources such as shelter information, housing program paperwork, and essential items (water, clothing, food, blankets).

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Census is more than a count. It’s a chance to reach out to those living unsheltered, offer hope, and helps us better understand homelessness in our region and connect individuals to critical services and housing programs.
