It is the mission of Scouting America to to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law
What We Do
The Winnebago Council serves the youth in 17 counties in northeast and north central Iowa.
Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and uphold ethical standards. These opportunities not only help them when they are young, but carry forward into their adult lives. The skills they learn in Scouting help them overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character.
