Due to COVID-19, we are taking steps to ensure everyone's safety as well as, making sure we are meeting the rising need of those we are serving. Every week day help us pack both BackPacks and emergency food boxes for our pantry and partner agencies.
There are three shifts:
Morning: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Mid-day: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Evenings (Tuesday & Thursdays ONLY): 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
To make sure we stay within the recommend group size everyone wishing to volunteer must sign up here https://calendly.com/neifb/. Limiting the number of volunteers will help us protect the health of volunteers and staff. If the shift you are hoping for is full you will have to find a different time to volunteer.
Also, any child under 14 years of age needs to be accompanied by an adult if they choose to volunteer. We will also be taking the necessary steps to ensure we spread groups out and have hand washing stations, gloves, and hand sanitizer available for those here assisting us.
Please keep in mind that if you are a part of a vulnerable population or if you are currently sick/under the weather, please stay home to avoid getting others sick or to ensure you are not getting sick.
