For the Cedar Valley Annual Earth Day Trail Clean Up, volunteers are needed to assist with the annual trail clean up along the metro area trails. Various area trailheads and parks will be designated as meeting locations.
We will need 12-15 volunteers to be Facilitators at the designated trailheads and parks. These Facilitators will be furnished with detailed instructions, maps, trash bags and a Volunteer Sign-in Sheet in advance. We ask that they arrive at their designated location by 8:40 AM on April 25th in order to
- Welcome the general volunteers
- Check them in
- Assign a section of the trail to cover
- Provide the trash bags
- Instruct about returning the bags to the pick up location
- We also ask Facilitators to remain at the designated location until all volunteers have returned and are accounted for
