Winter FREE Day is the GMD's way of wrapping up a great year and thanking all of our Cedar Valley supporters!
We are in need of door greeters to welcome visitors and to wander through the exhibits assisting visitors at the Grout Museum and Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum. All volunteers will have the opportunity to enjoy the museums before or after their shift.
Visitors will warm up inside any of the GMD's sites this day for free. There will be special hours at both historic homes, opportunities to take in one of the "hot" science demonstrations at the Imaginarium, head over to the Grout for a planetarium show, and after that, spend time perusing through the Iowa Veterans Museum exhibits.
Planetarium Shows & Science Demos will be held at 11 AM, 1:30, and 3 PM.
