We are having a grand opening celebration for the veteran's transitional home we completed, the opening will be Thursday April 20th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. We would need help from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. most likely for set up and clean up if possible. 4 people are needed for parking attendants. The street will be blocked off by barricades to prohibit driving down the street unless they live on the street or have VIP parking based off of a list. 2 more people will be at the 2 entrances of the parking lot next to the house to manage parking, telling people where to park etc. We will need a few people to help with making sure snacks are full, bottles of water filled, change our garbage bags if they get full, ("party basics"). The grand opening was invitation only for anyone in the community that donated time, goods, materials/labor to the veterans home. It is a grand opening to share in the celebration of this project with all who helped us along the way.
