Black Hawk County Elections Office

The Black Hawk County Election Office seeks to serve the people of Black Hawk County by conducting elections of unchallenged integrity that are convenient to voters, accurately tabulated and safe from improper interference, and are in strict compliance with the provisions of state and federal law.

The Election Office is a part of the County Auditor's Office. This division is responsible for the county's voter registration records and all preparations for elections held for Federal, State, City and School offices, and for public measure questions. County auditors have conducted elections in the state of Iowa for about 150 years.
