Waypoint Services - Cedar Valley

Waypoint's mission is to inspire people to move forward.

For more than 130 years, Waypoint's services have evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of individuals, children, and families. Today, Waypoint offers a variety of proactive services and resources for those experiencing housing instability, poverty, or violence. Our Domestic Violence Victim Services serves as the comprehensive victim service provider for the Black Hawk and Buchannan counties in the Cedar Valley. 

Waypoint’s Domestic Violence Victim Services Program provides support services to help victims and their families cope with the trauma of controlling, hurtful intimate partners. Services include:

• 24-hour Resource & Support phone line
• One-on-one peer counseling
• Medical advocacy
• Legal advocacy 
• Weekly support groups

Waypoint provides Domestic Violence Victim Services to the following counties: Benton, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Jones, and Linn.
