Cedar Valley Preschool & Child Care Center

We are a preschool and childcare center that has been in the North Cedar Neighborhood for 56 years. We believe children are the future and we support learning and socialization.

Our mission is to provide a structured curriculum of developmentally appropriate activities, which aim at the positive growth and development of each individual child socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

We support children as they learn and grow physically, emotionally and cognitively. We give them the tools needed to become all they can be.

We provide nutritious meals and snacks We also participate in the USDA food program. Cedar Valley Preschool and Child Care Center is affiliated with Cedar Valley Promise. We have experienced staff that will help your child learn how to: ?get along with others ?eat healthy foods ?communicate ?solve problems ?respect themselves and others All of our teachers are certified in CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Reporter and Universal Precautions. Cedar Valley Preschool & Child Care Center first began its operation on August 11, 1970 with two VISTA workers in the basement of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Our present facility was built in 1974 and an addition was complete in 1984. We are licensed to serve 64 children. We presently employ a licensed director, full time book keeper, cook, and teacher associates.
