Needs From: Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley

Purpose:

-To keep the financial records and prepare financial reports for the board.

Responsibilities:

-Pickup financial mail from the KUNI studio each month
-Prepare checks as instructed to be signed by the authorized signer on the account
-Make deposits as instructed.
-Reconcile the checking account monthly
-Forward monthly reports to the Chair and Treasurer, then forward to the Board.
-Send annual information to the CPA so they can prepare the audit and Form 990.
-File Biennial report with the state.

 

Qualifications:

-Background with financial bookkeeping, accounting software, and preparing reports.
-It's a way for someone to use their bookkeeping/accounting skills for the good of Public Radio.
-It's perfect for someone who prefers behind the scenes work.
-Flexible hours, do the work when you want.
-The people on the board are fantastic to work with.
