Members of the Event Leadership Team will help to plan, coordinate, and execute the Relay For Life of Black Hawk County held annually in June in Waterloo. There are several ways interested members can contribute to the team including marketing, social media, logisitics, fundraising, and more. Team meetings occur the second Tuesday of every month at 6pm. Meetings ARE NOT mandatory. The Relay For Life contributes to advancing the American Cancer Society’s vision: ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. Relay For Life celebrates survivors, honors caregivers, remembers loved ones lost, and raises funds to ensure that everyone has the chance to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
