If you are interested in military history consider volunteering at the Sullivan Brother Iowa Veterans Museum to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States’ entrance into the First World War, “the war to end all wars”. Assist children while they investigate the events that would lead to global war, the United States’ entry into the war, and the consequences of the war’s end. Children will explore technological advances that came to define the conflict, including the tank, airplane, machine gun, and trench warfare.
