Assist visitors in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the United States’ entrance into the First World War, “the war to end all wars”. Guide visitors by assisting them in investigating the events that would lead to global war, the United States’ entry into the war, and the consequences of the war’s end. Help them explore technological advances that came to define the conflict, including the tank, airplane, machine gun, and trench warfare.
This volunteer activity takes place at the Grout and Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museums.
