Volunteers are needed in various shifts for Cedar Valley Pridefest on August 26 from noon – midnight in downtown Waterloo for various activities including gate and ticket sales, stage assistance, beverage sales, security, kid zone, and supplies and logistics.
Attending Pridefest:
Remember, as a volunteer you get into Pridefest for FREE with your shift. You can attend the festival early or after your shift. You will get a wristband when you enter at the Jefferson Gates. Just let them know you're a volunteer.
Checking In:
When it's time for your shift, check in at the Information Booth located at the Jefferson Gate. From there, the Information Staff will give you a volunteer badge and direct you where you need to go. Once you check in at your Volunteer Location, the station lead and previous volunteers will show you the ropes. Don't worry, it won't be too hard — and most of all, it will be fun!
