Needs From: Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley

The Cedar Falls Recreation Division is hosting a Can Play Soccer Program.  As as part of this All- Inclusive indoor soccer program we need volunteers to serve as participant assistants or "Teammates"  on hand to help these Young people participate in the daily activities led by our Program Supervisors.  Soccer knowledge not required. 

Adapted Programs are recreational and physical activities designed to be inclusive and accessible to individuals of all abilities. These programs are modified to accommodate participants living with Autism, physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges ensuring that everyone can engage and play.  Can Play’s licensed programs focus on the adaptations to ensure all participants can play.

This Program meets on Four Saturday mornings 9:00 - 11:00 May 9,16 & 30 and June 6

This will provide some waivers the city requires as well as a link to a required background check.
