House of Hope’s Festival of Lights is a family fun event that will get everyone in the spirit of the season!
Gather with friends, family, or teammates amongst the spectacular display of lights and make the experience merry by volunteering.
Festival of Lights will be the first 3 weekends in December, December 1-3, 8-10, and 15-17 at the KOA Lost Island Resort located at 4550 La Porte Rd., Waterloo (near Lost Island Water Park). The public will be invited to a drive-through each Friday and Saturday and walk-through each Sunday (weather permitting).
Enthusiastic volunteers create a festive atmosphere at our fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting women and children in need. You can get involved in various ways, from serving hot cocoa, assisting with admission tickets and parking, embodying beloved Christmas characters, and enchanting the crowd with music and caroling. Help us set up the event or be Santa's Helper to ensure a magical experience for all. Let's come together and make this holiday season truly special for our community!
