On Saturday, October 22nd, a Water quality snapshot event will occur from 9:00 pm to 11:30 am. Green Iowa AmeriCorps is assisting the Blackhawk County Soil and Water District in conducting this snapshot event. We will meet at the Center for Energy and Environmental Education building (CEEE) at 9:00 am. No prior experience is neccisary. A brief training on how to conduct testing and record data will occur. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Individuals, families, and small groups are welcome! The snapshot will occur regardless of weather conditions. Water testing locations will be around the Cedar Falls area. Specifically, the Dry Run Creek watershed. We would love to have you join us! Please RSVP if you plan on attending. Thank you.
