Who We Are

Student organizations at UNIBusiness are teaming up to make positive changes locally and globally. They are combining the virtues of sustainability, service and global awareness by raising funds to: - plant trees at various locations in Cedar Falls that sustained damage from the floods of 2008. The students? goal is to plant 4,000 hardwood seedlings. This will be made possible through the Living Lands & Waters Million Trees Project. - fund emergency operations for International Medical Corps, a $185-million global, humanitarian nonprofit organization that provides healthcare training and relief and development programs in some of the most devastated regions of the world. This organization is led by UNIBusiness alumna Nancy Aossey (Marketing ?82, MBA ?84). - help ongoing projects for water purification and education opportunities in Siares, Matagalpa, Nicaragua, a region UNIBusiness students have taken service trips to since 2001.
