March of Dimes is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

What We Do

March of Dimes is inspires to have all babies to be born healthy. Our passionate volunteer, donors and partners help up work towards accomplishing our mission every day. We work for babies by supporting research to fight the causes of birth, premature birth, and infant mortality. We provide comfort and information for families in the intensive care. We advocate for programs and policies to improve standards and care for our tiniest citizens. We educate the public, businesses, and professionals with the latest information available for healthy maternal care. The March of Dimes began in 1938 with President Roosevelt call to action against Polio. In 1955, a vaccine was declared "safe, potent and effective." The March of Dimes accomplished our mission and started on ensure the care of all babies have the best possible outcomes.
